  • Insulin dosing decisions
  • Treatment of any health condition

3.2 Accuracy of Results

Nutritional estimates provided by CarbIO are AI-generated approximations and may vary from actual values. Factors that may affect accuracy include:

  • Portion size estimation

  • Hidden ingredients
  • Regional food variations

Users should not rely solely on CarbIO for critical dietary decisions.

4. Subscription Terms

4.1 Premium Subscription

CarbIO offers a Premium subscription with the following terms:

  • Available as monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscriptions
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings

4.2 Free Trial

If offered, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4.3 Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple according to their App Store policies. Contact Apple Support for refund requests.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use CarbIO only for its intended purpose
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the application
  • Not use the service for any illegal purposes
  • Not submit inappropriate or offensive content
  • Verify nutritional information with other sources when accuracy is critical

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of CarbIO, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by CarbIO and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CARBIO AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Any loss or damage arising from reliance on nutritional estimates
  • Any health-related decisions made based on the app's information
  • Any inaccuracies in nutritional data

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CarbIO and its developers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the application or violation of these terms.
